Four of our Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals alumni have been selected to participate in the 36th Annual National Alliance for Musical Theatre Festival of New Musicals!
Dylan MarcAurele wrote the music for his selected show LEWIS LOVES CLARK, a funny fast-paced epic about the famous Corps of Discovery expedition.
Veronica Mansour wrote the music and story for her selected show LIGHTHOUSE, which is a sweeping pop-country musical that celebrates the idea that maybe, just maybe every version of yourself is worth being.
Writing team Anthony Fedorov (music and lyrics) and Jennifer Paz (book and lyrics) were also selected for their show PROUD MARYS, a seriocomedy that busts wide open the myth of the model minority Asian-American family, one pop song at a time.
Only 8 shows are selected for this festival presented at New World Stages in New York City on October 24th and 25th, so we’re very proud to have so many alumni presenting!
